(Jefferson County) At the beginning of the pandemic the Jefferson County History Museum, located in the First United Methodist Church in Festus, closed its doors to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Bernard Laiben is the President of the county historical society. We asked him if the museum is still closed to visitors.

Nevertheless history buffs can still get their fill but visiting the historical society’s facebook page.

To find out more information visit their website at Jeffco Mo History.Org or find them on Facebook at Jefferson County Heritage & Historical Society – Missouri.
