Jefferson County Man Seriously Injured in Crash

A Jefferson County man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon. 30-year-old Richard Macy of Pevely was driving a Yamaha YZF-R1 on Highway “Z” near Pevely Lake Road when he ran off the road and hit a Chevron sign. Macy was then ejected from the vehicle when it hit a ditch. Macy’s vehicle was totaled, and he was transported to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of his serious injuries.
