Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office budget submitted

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is already in the process of working out details for next year’s budget. Sheriff Dave Marshak says while the sales tax numbers are steady, taxing online shopping is still something that needs to be addressed.

Sheriff Marshak says certain things like insurance continues to increase every year.

The Sheriff’s Office submitted their 2021 budget to the county for approval this week.
