Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office investigating recent incidents near DeSoto

(Hillsboro, DeSoto) The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of Felony Stealing from a residence on Papin Road near DeSoto. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Grant Bissell says the call came in on October 27th.
Bissell says the investigation in this case is ongoing.
Another incident that took place on October 27th was a stolen vehicle that took place in the 3900 block of Flucom Road near DeSoto. Bissell says a man was dropping off a friend at an apartment complex when she asked if he could pick up her daughter who was walking along a roadway nearby and needed a ride.
The vehicle was later recovered in Washington County.
