(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Executive Dennis Gannon announced last week that the State of Emergency for Jefferson County, including the Stay at Home Order, which was set to expire on April 13, has now been extended until further notice.

Also the county’s Executive Order regarding restaurants and food establishments has also been extended until further notice.

Gannon says they are implementing all the orders and regulations they can to keep people safe, but ultimately it’s up to the people to abide by them.

Jefferson County Parks remain open; however, all playground equipment at the parks are now closed for use for the foreseeable future.

The Jefferson County Health Department has setup a call center at its High Ridge location for people who have general questions or concerns regarding COVID-19. That number is 877-435-8411.
