Jobe Bryant Makes Last Minute Quarterback Start, Leads Central to 43-8 Win over Potosi
The Central Rebels escaped Potosi with a 43-8 win. Rebels starting quarterback Casen Murphy was sidelined due to an illness, but the Central offense dominated anyway. Jobe Bryant got the start under center, rushed in the first touchdown, and got help from senior wideout Caden Casey for the second.

Bryant threw for another score later in the half, this one a bomb to Brayden Berry.

Potosi was able to find paydirt late in the third quarter on a ten yard run from freshman tailback Carter Pyatt. The run was his first varsity touchdown, and the third score of the year from the Trojan offense.

Central would answer with another score before the second strings of both sides entered the game.
Rebels head coach Kory Schweiss praised the performance of Jobe Bryant, who had almost 200 passing yards despite not practicing at quarterback leading up to the game.

Coach Wyrick says facing good teams is a good experience for his young roster.

Potosi falls to 0-3 on the year and faces a tough Valle Catholic team on the road next week. The undefeated Rebels will host Cape Central next week.
