Julia Christopher Of North County Girls Basketball Signs With Stephens College In Columbia

(BONNE TERRE, Mo.) – Senior girls basketball player Julia Christopher for the North County Raiders made her commitment official on Wednesday afternoon, as she signed to play college basketball at Stephens College in Columbia.

Christopher actually reached out to head coach Josh Steffen at the college last year.

She says that interaction produced instant results.

An interesting note about Christopher’s next destination is who makes up the school, as Stephens College is a private women-only college.

Julia tells us about how she think that transition will go.

The team that Christopher is currently on, the North County Lady Raiders, are in the midst of a 9-1 season.

The high school senior says it’s fun playing with this group in her last go-around at this level.

Christopher is planning on studying psychology at Stephens College.
