3x State Champion (On right: Sophomore look)

(IMPERIAL) Soon to be one of the most decorated wrestlers in Seckman High School’s history, 3-time state champion Kai Orine wrapped up his career with the Regional Radio Winter Dream Team Wrestler of the Year award.

During his Dream Team interview, Kai remained humble when addressing a question about his popularity in the Seckman hallways.

Kai is quite proud of his state championships, but his finish at the National Ironman Tournament this year certainly ranks up there.

Kai has some parting words for those that helped get him to where he is today.

Seckman’s Kai Orine finishes his wrestling career with a 196-11 win-loss record, 81 pins, as 4-time District champion, 4-time Winnetonka champion, 2-time Kansas City Invitational champ, Junior Freestyle All-American, NHSCA National Championship, Academic All-State, 2018 and ’19 Suburban Conference Wrestler of the Year, and state championships in the 113, 120, and 126-pound weight divisions.

Kai will further his wrestling career at North Carolina State. Full interview is on the Dream Team page.
