(CADET, Mo.) – There is excitement for the upcoming 2019-20 boys basketball season in Cadet.

The Kingston Cougars finished 8-17 last year, but the good news is that pretty much everybody is back from that squad besides point guard Tyler Hochstatter.

Head coach Paul Hamilton says they’re set up well to fill that gap.

And then there’s 4 other seniors that have played big minutes for Coach Hamilton.

One of those aforementioned sophomores is Matt Nelson, who Hamilton says will be the focal point of the offense.

The Kingston Cougars boys basketball team starts their season Tuesday on the road against Viburnum.

They’ll then face Bismarck next Saturday in the first round of the Valley Tournament.
