Lesterville’s Reese Gray Is The Regional Radio Dream Team Volleyball Player Of The Year

(Reynolds County) Lesterville’s Reese Gray is the Regional Radio Dream Team Volleyball Player of the Year. The last player from Lesterville to get that honor was Teresa Warner in 1988.

Gray tells us how she found out.

 

Gray is Missouri’s all-time kill leader with 2,056 kills for her career. She broke the record this season against North County. Gray says one of her favorite moments from this season, along with breaking that record, was keeping the season alive.

 

Lesterville’s head coach is Betsy Middleton. Gray tells us a lesson she’ll always remember from her coach.

 

Gray has many people to thank for her success.

 

This season, Gray had 581 kills, 89 aces and 402 digs. She also holds Missouri state records for total attacks and kills in a match with 43 kills.

Gray is a three-time member of the Regional Radio Dream Team. She will continue her volleyball career at Mineral Area College in Park Hills.
