Local National Weather Service Presentations in Early 2024
 The National Weather Service in St. Louis will hold several Weather Spotter Training Presentations over the next few months. Marshall Pfahler is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He describes what a weather spotter does.

Three presentations are being held in the Regional Radio listening area. The first is in Herculaneum at the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency on January 25th. The second is in Farmington at the Centene Center on March 4th, followed by Potosi at the Washington County Library on March 6th. All presentations are held in the evenings from 6:30 until 8:30 and are free to attend. However, RSVP is required for the Herculaneum event by calling 636-797-5381.
