MAAA Schools Announce Extension of Closures

(Farmington, Mo.) MAAA school superintendents released a statement Monday saying their schools will remain closed through Thursday April 30th in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the area.
The statement says, “The decision was made following President Donald Trump’s announcement on Sunday that he would extend federal social distancing guidelines to Thursday, April 30, and after consulting local health authorities.”
The plan now is for MAAA schools to tentatively resume classes on Friday May 1st.
