MAAA Special Olympics Returning This Spring

(Leadwood) There’s good news to report today concerning the MAAA Special Olympics that was canceled last year because of COVID-19. Sheri Price is the director of special education for the West County School District. She says they’re excited about getting the go-ahead to start preparing for the event this spring.
That’s not the only special event scheduled to make a return this year. Price says they hope to be able to hold their special prom this year.
Special Olympics will be held this year at North County High School in Bonne Terre. You can call any St. Francois County High School if you’d like to volunteer to help. Hear more with Price below.
