MAC vs Moberly Pushed to Thursday

(Park Hills) The Mineral Area College basketball double header against Moberly was snowed out Wednesday and has been moved to Thursday at the Bob Sechrest Fieldhouse. The Mineral Area College men are still unbeaten at 8-0 and have risen all the way up to 6th in the nation. The Moberly men come into the game at 7-2 and are receiving votes in the national poll.

The MAC Ladies knocked off nationally ranked Vincennes in their opener, but have gone 2-4 since. The Cardinals are the only team of the four to have played a Region game with a win at JeffCo. Moberly is 5-1 and ranked 11th in Division One. Their only loss is a one point setback at Division Two’s #6 team Illinois Central. MAC women’s coach Briley Palmer says this will be a battle styles…

The Cardinals feature the current Region 16 Player of the Week in Ashanti Davis, who came off the bench to average 18.5 point over two games. Davis hit 7/8 threes, went 4/4 at the foul line and recorded 10 rebounds and five steals.
