MAC Rises to #3, Heads to Paducah

(Park Hills) It’s been a good news bad news week for the Mineral Area College men’s basketball team. The Cardinals notched a signature win over 15th ranked Moberly on Saturday and then moved up to number three in the national rankings. MAC improved to 23-1 and beat the only team they lost to. The bad news is that the leading three point shooter has been dismissed from the team and the Cardinals lost their point guard Terrion Murdix to a knee injury for the rest of the season. Strege says it’s a tricky balancing act…

The Cardinals play at Western Kentucky Tech in Paducah Wednesday night. They beat the Stars by 52 earlier this season. Our next MAC broadcast will be when they return to Region 16 play at Three Rivers on February 15.
