MAC Women Fall at Lincoln Land

(Springfield, IL) The Mineral Area College ladies fell on the road at Lincoln Land College 92-74 on AM 800 KREI. Lincoln Land dominated the third quarter 29-10 and build its lead to 23 at one point. Emily Maidel scored at all three levels on the way to 37 points. Nijah Moore paced the Cardinals with 19.

The Cardinals shot just 16.7% from three and 37.5% overall. Lincoln Land was 50% from both. The Loggers also held a decisive advantage at the free throw line going 26/33. MAC was 8/11.

MAC falls to 2-2 on the year. The opponent and date of their next game is uncertain. Lincoln Land, the 10th ranked team in Division Two improves to 3-1.
