MAC Women Score Road Win Against John A. Logan 76-59

(Carterville, IL) The Mineral Area College women defeated John A. Logan for the second time this season, this time on the road at Carterville, Illinois, 76-59. MAC took an early 10 point lead and stretched it to as much as 21 in the first half, but the Volunteers battled back to make it a 10 point game in the second half. Masyn McWilliams scored 6 points in the first half, but caught fire with 22 in the second.
McWilliams finished with a game high 28 and has scored 20 or more in 8 of her last 9 games. Assistant coach Briley Palmer says McWilliams has taken her game to another level.
The Cardinals improve to 16-7 on the season and will host Moberly in their final home game of the year on Saturday. John A. Logan falls to 7-11.
