Man Discovered Deceased in Ditch in Potosi

(Potosi) Members of the Potosi Police Department were called Monday to Highway 8 and Pearl Road for a man laying in a ditch.

This is about midways between the heart of Potosi and the Springtown area.

A news release from the police department and Chief Michael Gum says when officers arrived, they realized the man was deceased.

Investigators are still attempting to identify this individual.

Assisting the Potosi Police Department with the investigation are the Washington County Coroner’s Office and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
