(Marquand, Mo.) Top marks at Marquand-Zion High School have been awarded as the 2020 academic year has come to an end.
Jack Lin-Starkey was named the valedictorian of the 2020 graduating class, and he plans to attend Evangel University to study applied mathematics with an interest in pursuing a career with NASA. He says going to a smaller school like Marquand-Zion made it feel like being a part of a family.
Coy Bailey was named the salutatorian of Marquand-Zion’s graduating class, and he plans to attend Lee Mechanical in the fall to become a welder. He says it feels great for his hard work to have paid off.
