Meramec Regional Planning Commission to Honor 12 People at Annual Dinner
The Meramec Regional Planning Commission will present 12 volunteer awards at its annual dinner on October 26th in Hermann. Three of those recipients are from the listening area. Each year, the M.R.P.C. honors residents and organizations located in the Meramec Region who volunteer their time, talents and give support to their communities. Local individuals to be recognized are Sarah Rion of Potosi, Easton May of Salem and Delores Gray Wood of Salem. The event begins at 5:30 Thursday evening the 26th at Hermann of Festhalle in Hermann. The night will feature a dinner, a program and the awards presentations. Also, the Eugene E. Northern Award, the highest honor given by the M.R.P.C. for volunteers and community service, will also be unveiled at the dinner. The Meramec Regional Planning Commission serves eight counties which includes Crawford, Dent and Washington counties.
