Mineral Area College President wants more Funding from State

(Park Hills) Even after Missouri legislators passed a 6-billion dollar supplemental bill to help the state economy, it is still unknown how much funding will be going directly to individual community colleges.

Dr. Joe Gilgour, the President of Mineral College, says the extra funding is needed right now.

State revenue for Mineral Area College was cut by a half million dollars this year.
