Missouri Continues to Lead Country in Puppy Mills

(Farmington) The Humane Society of the United States has once again named Missouri as the top state for puppy mills.

The national nonprofit’s “Horrible Hundred 2023” report says Missouri has 31 of 100 problem puppy mills in the country.

The report names some of what the organization considers to be the problem breeders in Missouri.

Missouri has held the top spot for the last eleven years.

Iowa and Ohio are tied for second place.
