(Farmington) As of this evening, there are now 903 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Missouri with 12 deaths.

There have been no deaths yet in the listening area.

Locally, there are 17 confirmed cases in Jefferson County, 7 in Perry and Franklin, 5 in St. Francois and Cape Girardeau counties and 1 confirmed case each in Bollinger and Ste. Genevieve counties.

Gender breakdown for the state shows cases are split pretty evenly between males and females.

The top 3 age groups acquiring the virus is 104 cases for those 50 to 54 years old, followed by 91 cases each for the 55 to 59 and the 20 to 24 age groups.

The least likely to acquire the virus in Missouri is those under 20 but they still have 27 confirmed cases in the state.

The U.S. as a whole now has more cases than any country, surpassing Italy by almost 40-thousand cases.

We now have 137,294 cases in the country.

Italy still has the most deaths, now nearly 11-thousand.

The U.S. has the 6th most deaths globally with 2,448.
