Mizzou Falls to Arkansas 91-84
The Missouri Tigers Basketball team fell to 8-13 on the season and 0-8 in S.E.C. conference play following a 91-84 loss against the Arizona Razorbacks on Wednesday night. The first half of the game saw Arkansas put up 47 points, with Mizzou trailing by 19 points. The second half of the game saw a lackluster offensive effort from the Tigers, letting Arkansas easily hold on to the lead. Despite this, Junior Tamar Bates did put up a respectable 29-points, followed by Sean East II with 11. Head Coach Dennis Gates says that the team just couldn’t find the rhythm that was needed.

Wednesday night’s loss marks the end of a very long month for the Tigers basketball team, having not won a game in January. On Saturday they will travel to Nashville to take on the 5-15 Vanderbilt Commodores. You can listen to that game on AM-800 KREI and AM-1400 KJFF, with pre-game coverage beginning at 2 P.M.
