MODOT Crews Dealing With The Heat

(Jefferson City) Temperatures will be well into the 90’s this week, causing the potential for health issues for people who work outside. That includes crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation. Brian Okenfuss is an engineer with MODOT.

Okenfuss says a lot of the work they are doing now involves the striping of roads.

Okenfuss reminds motorists that MODOT uses a water based paint, so if you do get some on your vehicle, it will come off if you run it through the car wash.
