MODOT finishing up a few improvement projects in Jefferson County

The Missouri Department of Transportation is finishing up a few improvement projects in Jefferson County. One of those projects which was completed about two weeks ago was extending the right turn lane from I-55 South to Highway 67 South from Highway A in Festus. MODOT Area Engineer Stephen O’Connor says that the project finished sooner than expected.
O’Connor says there are two other projects about to finish up….
Bridge maintenance work was scheduled to begin this week on northbound I-55 just north of Highway A. The work will be done in the overnight hours from 7PM until 5AM and drivers can expect delays during those hours.
