MoDOT on last weeks Winter Storm System

(Jefferson County) The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) worked its first winter storm event in eastern Missouri last week.

While there wasn’t too much of an issue across the greater St. Louis region, there was some trouble spots the further south you went, especially across southeast Missouri.

MoDOT Engineer Stephen O’Connor says locally road crews had a good handle on the event.

Minor snow accumulating storms are a good “practice run” at handling winter weather.

According to O’Connor, MoDOT has an abundance of salt supply for the winter months.
