MoDOT Update on Local Road Construction Projects

(Jefferson County) The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is working to finish up a few ongoing projects before the end of the year.

MoDOT area Engineer Stephen O’Connor says one of those projects is the addition of an auxiliary lane from I-55 southbound between Route A and Highway 67 south of Festus.

The off ramp from I-55 southbound to Highway 67 south is expected to reopen by Wednesday, November 11th.

Another road project to begin soon and end by years end is Metropolitan Boulevard between Route M and Z.
