Molly Below Has Big Dreams in the Rodeo Queen World

(Farmington) If you didn’t grow up in the world of competitive rodeo, you may know about bull riding and barrel racing.

Chances are you haven’t heard of the rodeo queens.

Rodeo queens play a critical role in the rodeo process, and can even help you learn about the sport. Molly Below, the current Miss Teen Rodeo Missouri, has been involved with rodeo her entire life and says being a rodeo queen is no easy task.

Molly attends Bloomfield High School and as she enters her junior year, finding free time may be difficult. She is involved in multiple extracurricular activities while also being a competitive barrel racer.

She says that finding a good work life balance has been a focus for her.

Below hopes to make it to the pinnacle of the rodeo queen world, Miss Rodeo America, but the next step would be The Miss Rodeo Missouri pageant.

She says nothing can stop her from giving it everything shes got to achieve her goals.

As a rodeo queen, Molly must be ready at moments notice to educated rodeo goers, ride a wide variety of horses and make public appearances. Her schedule would get even more crowded if she brings home the Miss Rodeo Missouri crown.

Below knows she has to take her queen career one step at time.

However, she believes that reaching Miss Rodeo America, held at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, would mean all her hard work was worth every bit of time and effort.

After high school, Molly plans to follow in her mother’s footsteps and attend Murray State University, in Kentucky, where she plans to join the rodeo team. The 2021 the Miss Rodeo Missouri pageant will be held on October 3rd 2020 in Palmyra, for more information visit missrodeomo.com.
