Monday night traffic accidents in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) One person was injured in a two vehicle crash in Jefferson County on Monday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 57-year-old Timothy Ball of De Soto was crossing into the northbound lanes on Highway 67 at Flucom Road when a 2019 Genesis G70 driven by 65-year-old Richelle Range of Hematite struck the rear of Ball’s truck.

Range received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment.

Ball was later arrested on a De Soto warrant for Driving with no insurance. The accident happened shortly before 11 on Monday night.

A De Soto woman was injured in a two vehicle crash on Monday evening on Highway 110 in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2022 Toyota Camry driven by 40-year-old Susan Harrel of De Soto was stopped on Highway 110 preparing to make a left turn onto McMillen Road when a 1998 Dodge Dakota driven by 50-year-old Brian Reed of De Soto struck the rear of Harrel’s car.

Harrel was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with moderate injuries.

Reed was later arrested for Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License. The accident took place around 6 on Monday evening.
