Most Mark Twain National Forest Campgrounds about to Open

(Berryman) Seasonal campgrounds in the Mark Twain National Forest are about to open.

Forest Ranger Becky Ewing says some campgrounds will open in April and a couple campgrounds will open this weekend.

Silver Mines Campground in Madison County, located between Fredericktown and the Arcadia Valley, opened last weekend for campers.

Unfortunately, Red Bluff Recreation Area, located in Pucky Huddle in Crawford County, will be closed for the entire year due to a major construction and renovation project that is currently underway.
