Most of the Festus storm damage found in Crites Park

(Festus) Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says residents can call the public works department to have a city crew stop by and carry off tree limbs that were knocked down by the high winds Saturday night. According to Camp, workers are also cleaning up Crites Park.

Camp says City Hall was in the process of getting a new roof and some of the tar paper and materials were lifted by the storm, allowing water to seep into the building. Camp says the damage was minimal and was cleaned up by the contractor on Monday morning.
