Mourners Pay Respects to Bonne Terre Police Officer Lane Burns

(Park Hills) The visitation for the Bonne Terre police officer killed in the line of duty was held Saturday at Mineral Area College.
Visitors paid their last respects to Patrolman Lane Burns.

Dawn Jaco is the daughter of Stan Jaco, a 30-year veteran and sister of Adam Jaco, a 10-year veteran with the Bonne Terre
Police Department.

A special police detail from across the United States was part of the service.

Patrolman Burns was killed March 17th at a Bonne Terre motel with Officer Garret Worley injured from gun shot wounds.
The funeral procession will leave C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre Sunday morning at 9 for the burial service
in Carthage, Missouri.
