April 3, 2020 10:52AM CDT
(Ironton) A new order will go into effect in Iron County in a couple days from now.
It’s a two-part order with one portion being the first of it’s kind in the state.
Iron County Presiding Commissioner Jim Scaggs says the first part of the order is standard with what some of the other counties have done.
The other part of the new order is actually directed to those who do not live in Iron County.
We asked Scaggs if Governor Parson should join the majority of other states and put in place a ‘Stay at Home’ order statewide.
This new order for Iron County will officially go in effect Sunday night at midnight.
So far, 12 Covid-19 tests have been administered in Iron County.
7 have come back negative and 5 are pending.
