New Welding Center at Mineral Area College is Ready for First Classes

(Park Hills) Last week, Mineral Area College in Park Hills showcased it’s brand new William Dickerson Welding Technology Center with an open house and building dedication.

Tina Miller is the program support specialist at MAC.

She says this new state of the art welding center will see it’s first round of students soon for a 20-week high-detailed course.

If interested in this course, you should call the MAC Continuing Education Department quickly because just a few spots remain.

Miller says they will also offer a Welding Pre-Apprenticeship Program in the new building at no cost.

One other course that will start up soon at the new welding center is the C.N.C. Machine Operator Pre-Apprenticeship Program.

This is an 8-week no cost rotating course.
