Northwest R-1 students attend Leader in Me Symposium in St. Louis

(Jefferson County) Students from across the Northwest School District participated in the Leader in Me Symposium in St. Louis a few weeks ago.
Northwest Superintendent Dr. Desi Kirchhofer has more.
Dr. Kirchhofer says the program fits well with educational values in the district.
The Leader in Me is a whole school education transformation process, which teaches leadership principles to students in K-12 schools.
It emphasizes leadership skills development and creates a culture of student empowerment.
