(CEDAR HILL) The Northwest softball Lions are state bound after an 18-8 win over Webster Groves on Monday in the Class 4 quarterfinals.
The win over the Statesmen was the 26th of the season for Northwest, which continues to add onto the most wins in a single season in Lions softball history.
Head Coach Dan Davison walks us through the range of emotions the girls felt after realizing they had just reached state.

Northwest softball won a state championship back in 1986 but have reached the Final Four only twice since then. The 26-4 Northwest Lions will play Friday morning at 10 in Springfield against 25-5 Raymore-Peculiar for a chance to play for the Class 4 title.
