Northwest tries to nail down Windsor’s winning ways in KJFF baseball

(Imperial) Jefferson County Baseball starts the week when the Windsor Owls host the Northwest Lions Monday on KJFF.

Northwest is 7-6, lead by seniors Andrew Lenzen and Austin Jerger but hoping players like junior Landon Clepper are headed towards stardom as well.

Lions head coach Kyle Wampler says his team is looking for reinforcements, particularly in their rotation.

Windsor has used excellent pitching to win three straight and five of their last 6.

Seniors Derek Williams and Gavin Kinworthy have been electric on the mound, and the Owls’ team earned-run average of 2.11 has allowed them to start the season 8-4.

Windsor takes on Northwest with first pitch just after 4:15 Monday afternoon on AM 1400 KJFF.
