One Alderman Resigns Another is Appointed in Ste. Genevieve

(Ste. Genevieve) A Ste. Genevieve city councilman is out and a replacement is already in.

Mayor Paul Hassler tells us who resigned and who was appointed during this week’s council meeting.

Mayor Hassler says Ste. Genevieve is still looking for applicants for the open city administrator and tourism director positions.

In other news from the Ste. Genevieve City Council meeting, four re-appointments were made.

Lawrence Myers will stay on the Tourism Tax Commission, Martha Patterson and Donna Rausch will stay with the Heritage Commission and Carl Kinsky will remain on the Planning and Zoning Commission.

It was also announced Ste. Genevieve will waive city taxes during the Show-Me Green Sales Tax Holiday scheduled for April 19th through the 25th.
