One Injured Tuesday In Two-Vehicle Jefferson County Traffic Accident

One person was injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 60-year old Dale Vontalge of Imperial was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet 1500, heading northbound on Goldman Road, north of Mockingbird Road.
At the same time, 44-year old Shawn Allen of Hillsboro was headed in the same direction in a Buell RX1190.
The crash occurred when Vontalge was slowing down to make a left turn.
Allen failed to stop in time, causing his vehicle to strike the towed unit of Vontalge’s vehicle.
Vontalge was uninjured in the crash, but Allen sustained serious injuries.
He was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis to be treated.
