One Person Killed and another 4 Seriously Injured in Sunday Morning Accident in Jefferson County

(Jefferson County) One teenager is dead and another 4 seriously injured in a one vehicle crash in Jefferson County early Sunday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old female from Cedar Hill was driving northbound on Carol Park Road north of Woodland Drive when the driver travelled partially off the right side of the road and began sliding.

The front of the vehicle struck a tree and a utility pole before coming to a rest partially on the roadway.

Out of the 4 occupants in the vehicle, a 17-year-old female from Cedar Hill was pronounced dead on scene by EMS Personnel.

A 17-year-old male from Fenton was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South, a 18-year-old male from Fenton was transported by survival flight to Mercy Hospital St. Louis and a 18-year-old female from High Ridge was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South.

The driver was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South. The accident happened around 1:46 Sunday morning.
