Open House Held Today At Uplift Center In Farmington

(Farmington) An open house was held today at the new Uplift Center For Better Living in Farmington. The city of Farmington donated the building to the East Missouri Action Agency, which will in turn use it as an outreach center. Vicky Huff with EMAA says they plan on providing numerous services to people in need with this new center.
Farmington Mayor Larry Forsythe says the building is located next to the Farmington Oaks Senior Center.
The center is located off of Wallace Road in Farmington. The phone number is 573-454-2304. The Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce was also there for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
