Opening of Public Pool at Viburnum Golf & Country Club is Delayed

(Viburnum) The public swimming pool at the Viburnum Golf and Country Club is usually open by now but some unforseen problems has delayed the swimming season.

Lance Mayfield is one of several who volunteers their time, helping maintain the public amenities at the country club like the swimming pool.

He tells us about the problem.

Mayfield says the Viburnum pool at the club will be repaired and it will eventually open but he gave us no time-frame for an opening date.

The Viburnum Golf and Country Club also features two tennis courts, a dining room that can be rented for parties and a beautiful 9-hole public golf course.
