Park Hills Zones, Tears Down, and Builds

That’s city administrator Mark McFarland who says the council also turned down a request for some apartment buildings…

The city continues to move forward in work on constructing a new municipal pool. The voters in Park Hills passed a bone issue in April to fund construction. McFarland gives us an update on that project…

McFarland says when they finally closed the books and performed the audit on 2020, it came back better than they originally expected…

The new swimming pool, being built in Columbia Park, will include a new splash pad will also be built along with some other water-fun amenities in Park Hills. The old city swimming pool had served the community since 1958.

And Park Hills has make an agreement with some property owners to tear down their dilapidated homes. City administrator Mark McFarland says no one is actually living in the structures right now…

The city will demo five properties.
