Pedestrian Killed in Dent County Hit-and-Run

An 83 year old man from Salem is dead following a hit and run accident on Thursday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Hwy 32, 3 miles east of Salem when David Davis was struck by a vehicle at 5:15 PM. The vehicle left the scene and the driver has not been identified. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
