(PERRYVILLE, Mo.) – Senior Chase Brown of the Perryville Pirates boys basketball team showed off his talents during his final high school season and earned a spot on the Regional Radio Dream Team. Brown averaged 24 points and eight rebounds per game and set the single-season school record with 597 total points. He said breaking into the starting lineup last season helped him develop even more in his senior year.

Brown also broke another Perryville basketball record on Jan. 8 when he scored a career-high 43 points against New Athens, setting the Pirates record for most points in a single game. He said at first, he didn’t realize how well he was scoring that day.

Those teammates are also the main things Brown said he will miss about playing at Perryville.
