Pevely man injured in motorcycle accident

A Pevely man was injured after a motorcycle accident on Mapaville Hematite Road north of Poute P on Thursday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Chad Stricklin was driving his 1996 Harley Davidson Road King south on Mapaville Hematite when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with moderate injuries. The accident took place at 9:30 on Thursday night.
