Pevely Super 8 Hotel still closed after the state shut them down in June

(Pevely) The Super 8 Hotel in Pevely is still closed after the state came in and shut them down due to safety concerns. Pevely City Administrator Andy Hixson spoke on the issues that shut the Super 8 down since June.

Hixson says the owners of the hotel have made the necessary changes so now it comes down to the state returning to further inspect it.

The Super 8 in Pevely is no stranger to problems over the past year, problems with the building structure forced the business to shut down in November of 2022.
