Planning For 2nd J Turn Intersection In Farmington Continues

(Farmington) The Missouri Department of Transportation continues to work on plans to develop a second J-turn intersection on Highway 67 in Farmington. Brian Okenfuss is an engineer with MODOT. He says these newer type of intersection has proven to be a major plus in terms of safety.
The second J-turn is located at the intersection of Highway 67 and Route H. And Okenfuss says there may be more to follow.
Work on the J-turn intersection at Highway ‘H’ in St. Francois County is expected to begin next summer and should be finished by next fall.
