Potosi Hosts Class 1 Powerhouse South Iron Tuesday Evening
(POTOSI) The Potosi boys basketball team is riding the high of a big MAAA tournament victory against Central, but they have another tough test in the South Iron Panthers. South Iron enters the contest as the top team in Class 1 with a record of 22-1, with the lone loss coming to Class 5 Farmington in December by a single point. Potosi is coached by Jackson Conoway. He says that South Iron and coach Dusty Dinkins have built a great program.

South Iron’s great season has rolled on as expected, but the Panthers have yet to see a team like Potosi. Panthers head coach Dusty Dinkins tells us what makes the Trojans different from other teams on the schedule.

Historically, Potosi has struggled against South Iron, although the Trojans won their last meeting in the 2022 Bob Sechrist Christmas Tournament. Conoway tells us what his team needs to do to come away with another win against the Panthers.
